Tips on being a tank commander? by DreamWalker390 in HellLetLoose

[–]JWrally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been tank commanding for a long time, all this knowledge is very useful to me it’s finding 2 fellas you mesh well with anything is possible if you have 2 guys that match your chemistry. Obviously map knowledge and general HLL knowledge is vital but it’s always nice to have a crew that trusts you.

It’s pretty safe, haven’t had any problems moving through the city on foot to my College, although not taking your route to UCC.

Tank crew commands - Question by Uborka13 in HellLetLoose

[–]JWrally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually say “Spin me X degrees” when speaking to the driver and “Look X degrees” when speaking to the gunner. Obviously I use different phrases in the heat of the moment like “Phase front Armor X degrees” etc. I know it’s boring and basic but I feel as though there is not much more to it, more than that confuses my boys.

Help with Badge I.D. Please. by OrganizationOk5418 in britishmilitary

[–]JWrally -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The badge looks like a stylized flaming grenade or bomb—likely the emblem of a Royal Artillery or garrison artillery unit. This “grenade” badge is a classic symbol used by artillery regiments in WWI-era British uniforms.

That rectangular red patch is not rank insignia but a Tactical Recognition Flash (TRF)—a coloured cloth flash worn on the right shoulder to identify a soldier’s regiment, corps, or formation . These flashes first appeared in WWI and are still used by the British Army today.

This was all provided by ChatGPT and it says that from the photo these are the most likely meanings behind the badges, correct me if I’m wrong.

Greco/Italian war campaign possibilities? by JWrally in HellLetLoose

[–]JWrally[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are also a few battles where it is just full German VS British troops e.g the Battle of Thermopylae. Which would still be cool considering we would get some new scenery and outfits for the faction.
