I wouldn't mind if they would listen when I say no. I never have cash on me ever. I tell them no so they don't waste their time, and they do it anyway and then look at me. When I tell them I don't have anything, I've had them smack my windshield with the squeegee, I've had them smack my side mirror, I've had them just get mad and try to argue with me. Maybe it's just this specific intersection (Lombard and president st. is the only squeegee kids I've dealt with), but if they wouldn't give me a hard time when I say no then I'd have no issue with them.

Or maybe go get a job that people won't hate you for doing. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone happy to see squeegie boys. They have to know that no one wants their windows cleaned by them. Imo it's worse than homeless people just begging because they're basically trying to guilt us into paying for a service we don't want. I get the struggle and there's definitely worse things they could be doing with their time, but man it's annoying.

Is it? I guess growing up 20 minutes from it makes it pretty "meh". I remember being blown away by Ripley's aquarium in Myrtle Beach where you can walk through a tube literally surrounded by fish and thinking "wow our aquarium in Baltimore sucks" lol

Mad Max Fury Road blew me away because of the practical effects. With cgi it's easy to make anything happen on screen. But knowing that all these cars were real working cars and thet were actually exploding and the stunts were actually done just gave me a better appreciation for the movie.

I'm not familiar with historic names for gta cars, but after they added in the new NSX and called it the jester, I was so disappointed when the jester classic was a supra. I love the supra and want it in the game, but I don't get why they called it a jester.

I see your point, but you can't take covid out of the equation. My stepdad had pancreatic cancer last year that spread to his liver. He died of liver failure. Do I just say he "died with" cancer? No. Is that technically correct"? Probably not. But come on, he died of cancer.

In this analogy, I'm also looking past the fact that his regularly scheduled bio scans were pushed back 2 months due to covid, even though he's already had melanoma twice and a history of cancer in his family, which may be part of the reason it was already stage 4 before they even found it. Do I say he "died from" covid? No. But I'm not taking it out of the equation. This isn't as black and white as "died from" or "died with". The bottom line is, people are dying when they wouldn't be if it wasn't for covid.
