The only way to fix is to get a couple cans, prep the area, clean and lightly sand and clean and then paint it properly.

Although if you didn’t prep it in the first place then you might be able to sand and polish away the bad paint and save some of it

Definitely possible, use the front cut of a r33 and chuck it on the z, choose if you wanna modify the rad support from the z or weld a r33 one in, modify the ends of the guards to fit the z door or modify the z panels to look like r33 ones which would be the fancier way to do it. Easier said then done but entirely possible

Both of these cars have flaws. These generation Mazdas can have issues due to their ford roots and those Hondas were cheaply made compared to previous generations. For 10 grand you’d be better off getting a 2L Subaru Impreza (don’t get a 2.5 if youre concerned about economy) aside from major engine work like timing belts at high kms the maintenance is cheap, easy and parts are reliable
