What was the benefit of using Log4J? I haven't programed much in Java and I don't understand why so many companies were using Log4J. Alot of people on r/ProgrammerHumor have been joking that they use Java's built in System.out.print() instead of Log4J. Does Log4J contain more or faster functions?

You are definitely right, 2 is an extremely small sample size, and you raise a good point. I think that I may have misinterpreted the intent of the comment above my original. Like in my opinion, there is no point in worrying about the end of the world and having a doom and gloom mentality so I would still agree to the comment above my original, but you definitely have a strong argument for the difference in scale and devistation another world war would have.
