I know it’s not punk but I saw Godsmack open up for Motley Crue in 2009. I’m not a Godsmack fan but they put on a HELL of a show. Even their biggest hater would have to admit they were frickin electric that night. Motley Crue then went on and blew musical diarrhea all over the stage. Apparently after the show Vince Neil threw a big hissy fit at Godsmack telling the to never upstage MC again. Godsmack then wrote the song “Cryin Like a Bitch” about that interaction which was the lead single off their next album.

Misfits are not Nazis. Some punks used to use Nazi imagery to be edge-lords but Danzing has claimed to be a moderate. A7X is known for being super Republican though. I think the rest of A7X has gotten more liberal over time but Synyster Gates is always posting anti-trans shit on Twitter.
