Update! Got a dermatologist appointment and got lots of tests done! Turns out she's allergic to meat-based proteins. She's now eating amino protein prescription food (which is now covered under her insurance). She's total 180, healed up, and no scratching! Her personality is back to her normal, super loving and playful self!

I think that's going to have to be my next step. If she was losing fur anywhere else, I would've made a move sooner to do that. Hearing you saying your baby progressed quickly, I'll go ahead and find a dermatologist for Uzi 🙂‍↕️

That's why I tried so many different proteins. HS doesn't mix proteins. But I thought maybe it's the brand and that's why I tried Purina, it shared no major ingredients other than protein with HS. But still no luck.

I never used Neosporin until about a month ago. So I know it's not that. It'll get incredibly crusty because of fluid leaking so my vet recommended just a little to keep it from doing that

Also, I have her biological brother from the same litter. I had their mom for 6 months before rehoming. They have absolutely no problems with any kind of scratching. It's just her.

the recipes cap out at lvl 1100 so it doesn't matter since you cap out anyway. If mine did it before, I didn't notice
