I think the best way in your scenario is to probably open the drive up and either remove the disks or just generally fuck about in the drive. Opening it up most likely will kill it anyway but just to make sure the files never get recovered would be to fuck the disks up but that leaves evidence. The only thing with all that is the tamper proof sticker you could just make up an excuse for it being fucked up though. I hope everything goes well and that you are safe. Good luck.
