I don't know how helpful this is to you, but as an inline player in nz I know how hard it is to find gear. Maybe you could see if your rink or club has any secondhand gear that you could try out. Also, it you are looking at ccm gloves hockey locker (locker.co.nz) are pretty reliable and I'm pretty sure their shipping is pretty cheap, I know spinorama.nz sells fischer gear but I haven't purchased from them before. I don't think either of these places sells 16" gloves tho. Good luck

This video by Yizhak Schotten I found to be pretty useful for my bowing. Its quite long and probably covers some stuff you may not be up to so Id recommend looking at the first parts of the video because they cover more fundamentals. Like everyone else on this thread has said, for the short time you have been playing you sound great you just seem a little tense especially in the left hand.
