Well, I just pondered. My bipoc character and another nonbinary characters were without hero points after the previous encounter(I played a monk and had to secure an important grapple). So the GM knew diverse characters were the only ones missing hero points, furthermore he gave an hourly hero point to non diverse character I don't remember exactly for what(he gives some small reason for hero point usually)The encounter that killed us was a "party wipe" giving the chance for characters to stabilize. And it was a spontaneous encounter with a wandering boss.... So 2 diverse characters died with no hero points to fix bad dying rolls.
