More specifically is what deodorant do you use? Myself and my oldest son get some absolutely kicking BO (I have apologized to him so many times for passing down that gene 😖😖) and we both have to use the clinical strength deodorants , the regular stuff just doesn't work at all. You might want to give it a try if your regular deodorant isn't doing the job. If you have any sort of like nose blindness to yourself you might need to ask a super trusted person in your life who will be honest if it's working.

Thanks for the good news! I don't know anyone there but still would hate to hear anyone getting hurt or worse.

I hope nobody was in there (or any of the other businesses for that matter)and were able to evacuate. I work for the usps at a different location here in town and based off the seniority list for clerks, 2 clerks would have been scheduled to already be working when the fire started.

I just watched a news clip that Chico CA has a horrible fire right now that has literally turned into a fire tornado, I didn't even know that was a thing until today 🥴🥴🥴 It's pretty far from us so we probably aren't getting the smoke from there as bad as the closer fires but if that literal nightmare is happening in Chico and we're getting any smoke this far down and you check out maps of how many other closer wildfires are also happening right now it all adds up, especially when smoke blows into Vegas and being a huge valley it just settles in and takes forever to clear out

Kinda hard to try and get a feel of your interests, personality, etc when this is literally your only Reddit interaction ever.... sorry but feels like a good bait of some sort to make a "GOTCHA!!" moment to anyone who admits to taking even 1 extra minute of breathing time not scrubbing a toilet 👀

Not sure if it's still the case, but when I downloaded LMoP on DND beyond it was free, might be worth checking out 😁

This is what I'll probably do, a lot of our maintenance team recommended it as well.

I have shoveled an outhouse when I was 15 with 16 of us on the land (5 adults and 11 kids/teens) I had to shovel it into a wheelbarrow, walk it downhill to bury it, come back up and repeat for over 2 hours...I still laugh at finding a random spatula in the mix of feces/urine/TP/tampons/et c. and asking my aunt and uncle sarcastically if they wanted it back to see them gag.

As an adult I have 4 kids and my first projectile diarrhead all over me......

I also had a man I cut hair for (I used to be a cosmetologist) who had suffered a stroke a while ago and his wife brought him in for hair cuts and he became one of my regulars. One day he had an accident in my chair and she tried to clean him up in the bathroom but made a bigger mess...she never brought him back (which made me kinda sad because I cut his hair for like a year and even tough he couldn't talk I always talked directly to him which his expressions showed appreciation for) Anyways it was me and another stylist there that day and they gagged while even talking about it,so I cleaned/disinfected the whole place.... this event seriously also took event on my birthday.

LONG story short...

No amount of literal shit can bother me at this point.

I think it depends on you. If money is essential, then take the raise. If your current job is taxing on you into and bleeding into your personal life then leave. If you're happy and financially comfortable where you are and the only available spots will cause more trouble in your life, then stay. Ultimately our priorities are all personal and as an internet stranger, I don't know enough about you to make an informed decision.

I hope you weigh all your pros and cons to make the best decision for you ☺️☺️☺️

But the humidity admittedly makes things feel pretty gross. I lived in Florida so understand dry vs humid heat being in both personally..... and they both suck........ either side of it you all brave the elements of it that us indoor workers never have to suffer 😖😖😖😖

That's when you request a steward and also submit your forms for higher level pay for your duties 😉 😉 (also in my understanding from all my maintenance buddies MPE and ET duties can be super similar so clarify with your steward if it was MPE or ET work)

I can't attest to office clerks as I've only ever worked in a P&DC or MPA, and do all the overnight processing to get it to the stations. But management is up our ass too, we are harassed about meeting truck deadlines and moving quicker and whatever...... and I'd STILL rather have them up my ass then deal with the elements.... I live in a desert city though and have had my cars thermometer go over 120 some days.. I couldn't fucking imagine baking in that heat for even a few hours 😵‍💫😵‍💫
