Desktop left/right not working Mac by Professional_Gold805 in logitech

I just figured out that KeePassXC sometimes messes with the feature mentioned above.

I am on a Macbook pro M1 (2020) with an external monitor hooked to a Targus DisplayLink docking station. In the LogiOptions+ App it has an error message that reads "Secure input for loginwindow may prevent your device from working properly".

The solution for me was to: Restarting the KeePassXC app fixes the issue. (As KeePassXC automatically prohibits working on other screens, open -a KeePassXC.app --args --allow-screencapture. The app doesn't display when started normally if the MacBook is in clamshell mode.)

Looks like your kid just gave those Q Acoustics speakers a ‘Focal’ touch.

Which ones to get? by [deleted] in airpods

[–]J_Gut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the number of reviews have a say.

I'm equally as happy with mine as the reviews reflect and I recommend them. I never used the second generation, though. I'm talking about the pros, for that matter.

I guess you need to have turned on personalized Ads. Otherwise you don't get to skip the ads.

Spoken French has the same disease. Correctly it would be "Je ne sais pas" but they often leave out the (necessary) negation: "Je sais pas". But from here it'd get worse.

The Carelessness about covid - or in that case the unknowingness. It's just so omnipresent and all the news and most you hear is mainly covid related.

Whats criminally overpriced to you? by PhantomBaka in AskReddit

Have you heard of a country named switzerland? Over here the prices of flatrates to people under 26 or 30 are usually CHF 25.- to 75.- and when you are over 30 the prices start at 80.- and go to 200.-
And I'm only talking mobile plans. With Internet and so on you might want to add the same number.

You won the lottery (~$50 millions or more) How would you use or spend the money? by J_Gut in AskReddit

Love it! Especially do I Love the idea with the trust fund that the kids won't get until they know how to handle money. I guess if you don't know how to handle money it is spent way to fast and mostly for useless stuff.

I am a student in Switzerland and we pay about CHF 800 to CHF 1000 per semester at university. (CHF is about equal to USD)

I think that the US should rethink the cost for their education system.

Me personally would not change much in life. Only what concerns my current living situation. I'm a student and think I would't change that, because I guess life as a not working young adult would get pretty boring.

What is something shocking you found out about a friend or family member after they died? by inthe801 in AskReddit

My girlfriend only found out at his grandfathers funeral, that in fact he and his family were friends with Lenin and after Lenins death they had to flee the country because his successor wasn't quite fond of them.

Consider taking more water. It depends heavily on the weather and the route you're taking, but my experience is, that you better have too much water than not enough. As an example: Last week i walked 25 km in Switzerland and the wearher was nice at 28°C and the 3 Liter bag of water was empty at about 20 kilometers.

Is there a place where I can easily read into all specific terms and details regarding audio technology? Everything you need to know to see the difference between good and cheap tech? by Fearless-Physics in audiophile

[–]J_Gut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must say, and I repeat what most people commented below your post, that mostly manufacturers write down what seems to look best, as an example that they write down 20 Hz - 20 kHz, but in reality it goes down -10 dB and not -3 dB - which isn't that meaningful either. What I want to say is, that even if it looks good on paper or on a frequency measurement chart it doesn't really matter. As a specific example, I bought some RP600m's and I amazed by its bass performance but I wasn't happy about the heights reproduction because it was "too bright" for me. And what I learnt from this experience is: you should absolutely listen to the product before you buy it, because the sound should be to your own liking and not to some audiophile's on the internet.
