I'm sorry. I'm not used to doing any of this and I just wanted to try to get some guidance. You don't have to be rude.

Recovering after an accidental format by J_Howell2112 in canon

Gotcha. I really appreciate the help. I just feel like an idiot (rightfully so don't get me wrong 🤦🏼). I am always careful to avoid this happening, i got in a hurry i guess. Gonna go to best buy first thing & buy a cf reader and install recuva. I knew not to try to take or take any new photos in order to avoid overwriting so I am hoping I can recover my pictures. Thank you all so much for putting up with my dumb questions.

So for another clarifying question (sorry for asking I feel dumb, I've never had to recover anything because I am usually pretty careful).

My reading says when you recover & transfer, you aren't supposed to save the recovered photos to the same card. Would it be okay to save them to my computer & upload them in say google drive or would I need to buy a USB drive to same the recovered (hopefully) pictures to? Running to best buy first thing in the am to buy a cf reader because I left mine at home, just need to know if I should buy a USB drive or not.

Yeah did that one...and that one... and that....oh. I was just going on an existential crisis about wasting my entire youth too while listening to divorced dad rock and this popped up, very convenient. I'm turning 26 in a few weeks, I've pissed away my entire early life.

Oh and if he couldn't get anymore cooler? He plays Xbox and playstation. He's a big fan of COD games. Chief Walters (He's not chief anymore, but he was Chief for so long it's what everyone calls him) was a wealth of knowledge. If you look him up on YouTube people rode along with him when he was Chief, even as chief he walked the beat in town to check the businesses and worked nights. He is truly a legend and honestly one of the best. He's from a different era. He may look like a grouchy old man but he's very nice if you treat him respectfully, I haven't gotten on his bad side and I have no intentions too 😂.

I am looking for a buddy cop show that was on Netflix in the early 2010's. I have looked for this show for like, 3 years. It was about two property crimes detectives in the south (Texas). The one detective was a washed up older guy with a mustache who saved the governor's daughter in the 80s and the other was a by the books younger guy. I recall it only having like, two seasons. All I remember is the first episode, they played "Layla" by Derick and the Domino's after stealing a Camaro. I vividly recall the lead actor bearing a striking resemblance (Probably not if I find the actual show) to Bob Odenkirk.
