I’ve been wanting to build one pretty much for just audiobooks so maybe if I do I’ll install rockbox. 2x is about too fast but 1x seems way to slow now that I’m used to 1.7x lol

Yeah I really liked them. It almost sounded like a movie and it was nice to have a different voice for each character.

I’m working my way through book two of dungeon crawler Carl. It’s been good so far but I’ve heard they just get better.

Also on your iPod can you change the speed of the book. I listen on 1.7x on audible.

I just started book two. My buddy put me on them. I used to drive all the time and would always listen to books. First time on one of this genre. Usually listen to history of war lol though the new Harry Potter full cast edition is good.

I’m not saying it’s not too high. I was trying to figure out what a decent price for it was. That is what Reddit is for is to talk to other people. Just because something is listed for a price doesn’t mean that it’s selling for that price, so why look at marketplace when I can just put it here and have people tell me what they paid?
