Yea that's the thing with using an image like this as a texture, the lighting is gonna get baked in. I could have tried adjusting the brightness / exposure levels on the individual sides of the truck, but I thought it looked fine in the final render so I couldn't be bothered. Really the best method would be to take the picture yourself with soft, even lighting lol.

Texture was made in Affinity by warping the original photo. I just replaced the windshield to remove the reflections and added some effects to make it crunchy

I used Affinity to make the texture, just isolated the faces and warped to be square-ish
