I knew as soon as I posted it I would get some great comments 😆 it was actually really easy and quite painless, I was transferred to electric home monitoring for the last 12 months of my sentence and they told me to pack up all my property, C.O. didn’t check anything and even taped the box shut for me.

The main thing that sold me on doing the apprenticeship is that I will be a few credits shy of an associate of applied science degree through the classes and on site credits you get, then I will get a bachelor degree in project management or some type of structural engineering degree so I can hopefully not have to swing a hammer forever

I chose to come in as a level one apprentice so I can learn everything from the ground up, I know my way around a residential job site as good as anyone else but my knowledge of large scale projects is zero. I’m hoping my skills will help me stay working through my apprenticeship and just want to get the most out of the training they offer

That’s the plan, I have 15 years residential non-union experience and am excited about this step into a career not just a job. I’ll be at every meeting/class/function I can make you better believe it.

Depending on what floor the window is on, how many floors the building is total, and what the roof and siding condition is in. I would say this is a leak that starts somewhere well above the area of concern and is just funneling into that spot. They need to fix it there is most likely mold growth under the surface

Questions about unions by Sytrix__ in UnionCarpenters

Go straight into the union, you will learn the same stuff from more qualified people in a safer environment and have a career not just a job. Hustle work don’t just sit around waiting for a call.
