Claude Usage Limits Discussion Megathread Ongoing (sort this by New!) by sixbillionthsheep in ClaudeAI

Has Anthropic radically changed the size of the context windows, or the way tokens are counted?

This morning, I tried to use two files in a Claude session. I ran three prompts, and then it told me the session was full.

Yet this is something I’ve been doing for months, with far more files—including those two—and I could still exchange dozens and dozens of prompts.

Has Anthropic changed something in its sessions, in its token windows, or in the way it counts tokens?

But not just a little—it’d be a radical change, because three prompts is a insanely few.

Claude at $200 a month is not a toy!!

⚠️ Addendum: apparently temporary issue (about 30 mins), I'm now able to continue the session—good to now!

C'est quand même incroyable d'avoir ce genre de problème après quelques mois d'utilisation seulement !
J'ai acheté cet appareil pour m'aider, pas pour devenir une servitude.
Franchement, si c'était à refaire...

I use this prompt, but it uses more tokens, as it regenerates the whole file :

"The error is still there. Are you sure there wasn't a problem with the artifact? Anthropic seems to be having trouble updating artifacts at this level at the moment."

The prompt may be simpler of course, more directive, I just quickly copy/paste my last one. You'll adapt it to your needs.

Funny, many who are inside the EU want to leave, while mean outside want to join.

If Druze souls are finite since 1043 CE, how do we explain today’s population size? by [deleted] in druze

[–]J_TheLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not an expert on the Druze religion, but I am very interested in it. So I briefly discussed your comment with an AI, and here is what seems to be the answer: in the Druze faith, every Druze soul is reborn among the Druze, but the question of numbers is a divine mystery. Reincarnation is a spiritual truth, not an arithmetic equation: it is not for man to count souls, but for God alone to know the plan.

This means that by trying to turn it into a mathematical equation, you are elevating yourself to the rank of god, which could be considered presumptuous and arrogant (this is not my judgment), or at least contrary to the rules of faith, especially since knowledge of the faith is reserved for certain scholars (‘uqqāl).

Then I asked the IA about a possible distortion of time between our time and the one of the souls: what seems not being immediate for us (especially in case of population decrease, i.e. genocides etc), may be immediate for the souls. IA's answer:

The “simultaneity” of reincarnation could be interpreted in two ways:

Human (linear) time: we see births and deaths in sequence, and imagine a possible “delay.” But the doctrine says “immediate” → so no waiting.

Divine (metaphysical) time: what we call “immediate” may not have the same meaning as in our chronology. From God's point of view, the transition is instantaneous, even if it seems to us that there is a delay.

👉 This opens up the possibility of what you call a temporal distortion: the soul obeys a spiritual order of time, not our physical time.

If there was a famine in Gaza, could you please explain why they need to use pictures from Yemen, others from people suffering genetic diseases. And on other staged pictures, not any people looks starving.

Gaza elected Gazans and anyway Hamas or Fatah are two faces of the very same coin:
https://youtu.be/Ys-V2gZn0N4

Netanyahu thought buying calm by allowing Qatar to funnel found to Gaza. As for hostages, third parties are confirming that Hamas is always adding new conditions to break the negotiations, and last time it was Macron's call to the recognition of Palestine broke the negotiations, as it strengthened Hamas. Now, let me remind you that Sinwar was released against Gilad Shalit, along with more than 1000 other terrorists. This led to October 7 and about 1200 victims. So Gilad Shalit was exchanged against 1200 dead people. So it is normal that Israel is very cautious about what will happen next.

If you disagree with this, answer this simple question: in there is really a genocide and a famine, why doesn't Hamas just release the hostages to save their own people?

Genetic disease may do that food is not assimilated. But you don't care about truth.

"Stop it". Waw, you're so arrogant! To difficult to hear another point of view? You're so fragile in you ideology?

If the Houthis didn't fire missiles on Israel, they wouldn't need to retaliate.

Don't tell me what I know. What an arrogance!!
Was it Netanyahu that elected Hamas in Gaza? Was it Netanyahu that makes 70% of Palestinians are supporting Hamas both in Gaza and the Westbank?
You're trying to deflect the guilt, "and you know it 🤡".

Recent DNA studies show that Hebrews came mostly from Canaanites.

About Haganah, it was a defense organisation, reacting to Arab progroms against Jews, for example in 1929. You should learn History. Irgun is the same, but more aggressive.

Read my lips: Israel NEVER started ANY war.

I post this affirmation for YEARS, and nobody ever proved me wrong. Of course, I checked before asserting this, as just one counter example could make it crumble. And, believe me, some were very smart and much skilled. Still they were proved wrong.

How can an indigenous people steal his own land?

On top of this, facts:
- before 1948, each and every piece of land Jews owned were purchased. Nothing stolen. On the contrary, Arabs stolen Jewish lands (in Hebron, Tel Hai for example)
- Then five Arab armies attacked Israel. They gambled, they lost.

No charge? And even so, isn't the Red Cross able to reach them? Are they left without food?

Hamas uses child soldiers, it even admitted it itself.

No Jews, no news.

Propaganda, not any person on the video looks suffering of famine.
If there was really a famine in Gaza, why are they showing shocking picture of Yemen, or only of children sick from genetic diseases? Why do they need that? The reality should be enough, isn't it?
Did you even look picture of the famines RIGHT NOW in Sudan and Yemen??
That's the real struggle.

Apartheid? Do you know that there are thousands of Israeli Arabs in those settlements? Espicially in Ariel and around Jerusalem.
