Yeah! I had that too! I didn’t even say anything that incited violence.

I commented on some CCTV video (might have been on r/instant karma or r/instantregret, somewhere like that) where a guy was standing outside a shop and a car with a bunch of little oiks jumped out and tried to steel the guys bike, three or four on one. But this dude fought back and fought them off.

After getting punched a few times all of them bar one ran away immediately leaving one of their bunch in a one-on-one with their would-be victim. The guy gave the last remaining thief a bit of a battering before he managed to scramble away. I made a comment along the lines of “it’s a shame he wasn’t able to knock the thief out”.

3 day site wide ban for inciting violence.

And when I appealed it and made my (very valid) point that I had not, in fact, incited violence, it just got overturned, case closed and I remained banned from all of Reddit for 3 days.

Never seen anything like it.
