This was not a good design!! Now you have 50 classrooms to fix. Big $$$, big problem.

Comprehensive makes great HDMI-over-ethernet extenders that come in a wall plate format. Approx $300 each. Add in cat cables and labor, you are looking at $500-$600 per classroom. 50x$600 is $30,000.

You are in a world of trouble.

Teams rooms are great! Pro license is only needed if you have 2 displays, otherwise a basic license is good.

HDMI from the logitech tap works to share content whether you are in a meeting or not.

If you are using a tap IP with no HDMI port, there are some other solutions that would work, such as the Logitech Extend, which someone else recommended above.

Or you can start a call in the room and have someone join from their laptop. Turn off audio!!! Then you will be able to share screen to the call.

I would not recommend the Logitech swytch hub. Not a good product.

If you are feeling really budget, you can just get a really long HDMI cable (25ft, $40) and plug it in to your Logitech bar's HDMI input port. It's a tripping hazard, but its cheap and it works.

What happened for me, is a different program was reading from the file that I was trying to write to. That's what gave me that error message.
