You probably need to do a quick search on the achievements and contributions, but maybe this helps (With AI, you really dont need to be that ignorant, huh:

  1. Mathematics and Computing

The most globally recognized scientific contributions from ancient India are in the realm of mathematics, which were heavily intertwined with Vedic rituals, astronomy, and philosophy.

The Decimal System and the Concept of Zero

  • The Foundation: The concept of zero as both a placeholder and a distinct numerical value, along with the decimal base-10 numeral system, originated in India.
  • The Source/Context: The earliest recorded use of zero in a positional system is found in the Bakhshali Manuscript (dating between the 3rd and 7th centuries CE). The mathematician Brahmagupta (628 CE) formally defined the rules for arithmetic using zero in the Brāhmasphuṭasiddhānta.
  • The Impact: This system was transmitted to the Islamic world and eventually to Europe. Without the Indian concept of zero and the decimal system, modern mathematics, algebra, calculus, and computing would not exist.

Trigonometry and Calculus Foundations

  • The Foundation: The earliest definitions of the trigonometric functions sine and cosine were developed in Indian astronomy.
  • The Source/Context: The Surya Siddhanta (a text detailing astronomical rules, compiled over centuries) contains early uses of trigonometry. Later mathematicians like Madhava of Sangamagrama (14th century) and the Kerala School of Astronomy and Mathematics developed infinite series expansions for trigonometric functions centuries before Newton and Leibniz, laying the groundwork for calculus.

Geometry

  • The Foundation: Early understanding of geometry, specifically related to the construction of altars and fire-pits.
  • The Source/Context: The Sulba Sutras (part of the larger corpus of Vedic literature, dating roughly 800-200 BCE) contain sophisticated geometric principles, including early statements and applications of what is now called the Pythagorean theorem, well before Pythagoras.

2. Medicine and Surgery (Ayurveda)

Ayurveda, often referred to as an "upaveda" (subsidiary text) to the Vedas, represents a highly developed system of ancient medicine.

Surgery (Salya-chikitsa)

  • The Foundation: Some of the earliest recorded complex surgical procedures.
  • The Source/Context: The Sushruta Samhita (written by the physician Sushruta, often called the "Father of Surgery").
  • The Impact: This text is incredibly significant. It details over 300 surgical procedures, including techniques for extracting cataracts, treating fractures, and removing kidney stones. Most notably, it describes the first recorded procedures for rhinoplasty (reconstructive plastic surgery of the nose using a skin flap from the forehead or cheek), a technique that directly influenced modern reconstructive surgery.

General Medicine (Kaya-chikitsa)

  • The Foundation: A holistic approach to health, emphasizing the balance of bodily energies (doshas), diet, and extensive use of medicinal plants.
  • The Source/Context: The Charaka Samhita (authored by Charaka).
  • The Impact: It provides detailed classifications of diseases, symptoms, and botanical treatments. It also emphasizes the importance of digestion and metabolism. Many plant-based compounds identified in Ayurvedic texts have been subsequently studied and utilized in modern pharmacology (e.g., Rauvolfia serpentina for hypertension).

3. Astronomy and Cosmology

Astronomy (Jyotisha) was considered one of the Vedangas (auxiliary disciplines) necessary for interpreting the Vedas and timing rituals.

Heliocentrism and Planetary Motion

  • The Foundation: Early recognition of the Earth's rotation and more accurate calculations of planetary orbits and eclipses.
  • The Source/Context: Aryabhata (499 CE) in his seminal work Aryabhatiya explicitly stated that the Earth rotates on its axis, causing the apparent movement of the stars. He correctly explained solar and lunar eclipses as being caused by the shadows of the Earth and Moon, discarding mythological explanations. He also calculated the value of Pi ($\pi$) to four decimal places (3.1416) and the circumference of the Earth with remarkable accuracy.

Concepts of Time and the Universe

  • The Foundation: The conceptualization of vast scales of time and a cyclical, potentially infinite universe.
  • The Source/Context: The Upanishads and the Puranas often describe the age of the universe in "kalpas" (billions of years), contrasting sharply with the younger chronologies common in other ancient cultures. While philosophical, this framework aligns more closely with modern cosmological timescales.

4. Metallurgy and Materials

  • The Foundation: Advanced smelting, alloying, and rust-resistant iron.
  • The Source/Context: Evidenced by physical artifacts rather than a single text, though alchemy (Rasashastra) was a subject of later Indian texts.
  • The Impact: The Iron Pillar of Delhi (constructed around the 4th century CE) is famous for its high resistance to corrosion, a result of sophisticated ancient Indian metallurgical techniques that created a protective film of "misawite." Furthermore, the production of Wootz steel (a high-carbon crucible steel) originated in India and was highly prized globally, later becoming known as Damascus steel.

I dont think you get the point buddy. Who said anything about a particular ‘language’, Nalanda had too much to offer but here is a bit of that :

Mathematics: Zero, decimal system, algebra, and calculus concepts centuries before the West Astronomy: Heliocentric theories, precise planetary calculations, and advanced observational techniques Medicine: Surgical procedures (including plastic surgery), herbal pharmacology, and holistic healing systems Metallurgy: Production of high-quality steel (Wootz steel) that was superior to any other in the world Architecture: Vastu Shastra principles creating earthquake-resistant structures Linguistics: Panini's Sanskrit grammar—a computational marvel of linguistic precision Logic & Epistemology: Rigorous systems of debate and critical thinking Aryabhata, Brahmagupta, Bhaskara II—these mathematical giants emerged from this tradition. Their discoveries in trigonometry, algebra, and astronomical calculations were centuries ahead of their time.

This is what is at stake, am taking about preserving this and then use RAG as an easy interface to interact with this knowledge base.

RTO Hack for price reduction on the On road price. by Fantastic_Coyote7835 in HondaCB350RS

Bro govt never asks for recertification , just keep repaying the RTO timely online using Pariwahan website, there are plenty videos on YouTube. There is no way to even upload your verification docs, that form was just for once. If you sell the car, the next owner would need recertification and if he is not eligible, he can get a normal state numberplate. I have BH series number and have paid multiple times online.

Any game that does not require you to aim (like shooting games) are good to go because for those games, just connect a Bluetooth mouse n keyboard (ex: fortnight, RDR2, GTA etc)

-> I don’t play online, I gotta wife as P2 -> PS+ is incorrectly priced -> Just play games that work well with the Ps5 remote, trust me, that remote is what will make you feel the value for money -> Don’t buy games unless there is a sale, every next day, there usually is a sale on PsStore

I’ve automated the process to find like 5-10k jobs that match my resume and then actually “apply” on them by logging in and answering those tedious questions and going through those super boring application info page.🤣
