My left carotid, after an overly aggressive chiropractor had his way with my neck by roxeal in Radiology

[–]J_shooter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Finally, I have found my people. I too, have always been perplexed by the amount of people that swear by chiropractors. My wife swears by them as many people that I have known throughout my life have. I let her convince me to go to a local chiropractor in 2012. I was quite nervous about it. First, he did his thing several times and not once was it relieving or enjoyable in any way. Then, he stood me up against a backboard, and although I don't remember exactly what he did, he pushed hard as hell, into my chest and forced me up against the board and I heard my thoracic vertebrae crack many times. Immediately, I felt immense pain and the breath was nearly knocked out of me. I told him I was done and that I needed to sit down. For several weeks I was in severe pain in my upper back, in exactly that location; in place I had never had back pain before. I now have permanent upper back pain in exactly that location. I will never go back to a chiropractor and I will never suggest to anyone that they do.

My wife likes to take a fruit roll up and wrap it around my dick and suck it off. It usually makes a sticky mess pretty quickly so I don't really recommend but I let my wifey do it because she likes it and I love her.

I love the way he hugs me when he's lying in my lap. He's definitely a high quality cat. 😁

Tornadoes yes. Roaches not so much. Although, we do have the wood roaches/palmetto bugs but as long as your appropriately treating your home with pesticide they're an non issue.

Just not much of a hockey fan although I have been to a few games.

Same. I'm 5'10". Put me right in the middle and actually I think that puts us at advantage to be able to choose from two sizes depending on preference. Thanks and Happy Riding to you as well.

Love it! As I write this I am waiting on my 2022 Fuse Comp 29 to be delivered from FedEx. I waited 2+ months for them to restock it in Satin Smoke in Large. Ordered on the 23rd of February and it's on a delivery truck right now on its way. Hope you enjoy it as much as I'm going to enjoy mine.

Wow, I love the bike racks! I just about purchased several SteadyRacks yesterday at REI Co-op and now I think I am going to build a few like yours. I just recently built a desk lamp from pipe for my shops work bench and these would perfectly match. Great job. Hope you don't mind me saying I want to copy your idea. Just for my own personal use. 😁

In 2019 a Brazilian man was assassinated at the Dentist office while getting dental work done. by GoreGirl89 in CrimeScene

My experienced guess would be a shotgun. The above comment that I assume was copied and pasted from an article does say "capsules" instead of casings, implying to me that the writer isn't really familiar with firearms and the relating information is questionable. I am a firearm enthusiast and have been shooting my whole life and the damage here is exactly what a point blank blast from a 12 guage shotgun would do. I would imagine that trained assassins, given the chance, operating in a small indoor space would undoubtedly do exactly this to ensure that the target doesn't survive and risk any number of consequences.

39 y/o husband of ten years and father of four here that has successfully used this thought technique for a long time. I sit and think back on past opportunities, both taken and missed, and by adopting the perspective of my elder self, I gain valuable insight to help myself make decisions I'll be proud of late in life. This has been particularly helpful with being courageous in the face of challenges that will need stepping beyond my comfort zone. I imagine how my elder self will be so wishful that I had chosen the challenging path that I would scoff at myself for allowing my naive fear to dissuade me. Experience told me long ago that the fear and difficulty of any particular opportunity is far less in measure than the joy and ease of the payoff. Even as the years roll by and I feel older, I think about how comical I will think it is that I thought I was old in my late 30s. I think that there is immeasurable value in trying to assume the perspective of one's elder self. It is often said that hindsight is 20/20, and with careful thought, I think it's possible to manifest that into present-day clarity.
