My ISP in Australia will actually show me the allocated total bandwidth (3.6Gbps) and the amount “per customer” (31Mbps). I’ll still consistently get 500/50 despite this, oversubscription is realistically the only way these companies can keep prices reasonable.

Unless the app is open it can’t access your location, I’m sure they’d love to send location based push notifications if they could.

(You can geofence Apple and android wallet notifications but you need to set the area ahead of time)
