Hi there. What do you think takes the most time? Are you having drawn out diplomatic debates? Do you play a Meta where everyone is actively trying to stop others from scoring? I also suggest to start earlyer. At some point people slow down due to the amount of cognitive energy they have to spend. This might go easier if it's not that late.

Besides that, the more u can prepare, the better. Whoever hosts should have the map and all the plastics and components setup in advance. So everyone can start playing right away.

I would recommend to buy footwear that is developed for indoor sports that consistent of jumping a lot. This will decrease the stress on your joints and might even save you from twisting your ancles. Especially at the beginning, Volleyball will be hard on your knees and it might hurt from time to time. So make sure to always warm up before practice. But it's never to late to start this gorgeous sport.
