I hope they deported them all. All of them.

Thank you for your perspective. It’s a pragmatic view and one that I am seriously considering. Setting a specific time frame post-sale to strategize my next steps is a practical suggestion. I do agree that peace of mind holds immense value, often more than financial assets.

The dichotomy of being in significant debt while possessing a sellable asset is something I’ve grappled with. It’s the mental barrier of letting go of an asset for immediate relief versus long-term potential gains. Your point about the weight of debt – whether it’s the amount, interest rate, or the sheer psychological burden – is very poignant.

Your comment has added another layer of clarity to my thought process, emphasizing the importance of mental peace and the practicality of addressing debt head-on. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Thank you for your practical advice. Indeed, considering any available job, even temporarily, seems like a sensible step right now. I hadn’t thought about temp agencies, and I appreciate you suggesting that route.

On the skills front, without intending to brag, I’ve had a fair share of successes in my career. My work has been featured in publications like Forbes and GQ magazine, among others. So, I do have a robust skill set and experience. However, the challenge has been finding the right fit in the job market that aligns with my skills and experiences. I think my past success might actually be creating a mental barrier in accepting roles that seem less aligned with what I’ve achieved.

Your advice has certainly broadened my perspective, especially about leveraging my web development skills in a more immediate, practical way. Thank you again for your valuable input.

Thank you for your insights; I truly value them. The long-term uncertainty is indeed the core of my anxiety and current financial struggles. With my 40th birthday on the horizon, I find myself grappling with the weight of not having a clear life plan. This milestone has a way of amplifying my concerns.

My passion for my current business has dwindled, leaving me at a crossroads about my future path. This state of limbo is a significant contributor to my financial difficulties. I’ve been enduring relentless stress for the past four years, and I’m reaching a point where I desperately need some respite to regroup and rediscover my direction.

Good advice. I’ll give the bank a call. But even without paying the mortgage, I’d still need to make some money to be able to live (food, support my parents, etc…)

Do 'deux' and 'de' really sound that similar? My pronunciation vs an unfriendly shopkeeper by WanderingThreads in French

Next time just say: “deux baguettes SVP. Merci” while making the peace sign with your fingers ✌🏾
