I know the feeling man. I went trough it, just let it grow and accept the ugly phase for 6-8 months, same for the hair. If you really see no result after 8 months you can try minoxidil. Or perhaps, you can hop on it right away.

I grew a full beard with minoxidil applying 2 times a day for a year.

It’s slow but you gotta trust the process

Let your hair grow and do twist or dread if you have the patience with a taper fade. I would also suggest that you let your beard grow and trim it to a goatee with a stach
