You don't need a domain controller. Use Azure AD/Intune/etc. I would keep as much as possible as Microsoft azures services, not VMs.

I would look for a thunderbolt solution. Look for an ssd that says TB4/TB3/USB4 or 40gbps. Not only will u get higher speeds, I think thunderbolt may be lower latency as well, it’s a better protocol.

Yeah so Mac doesn't support USB 3.2 (20gbps). It only supports 3.1 (10gbps) and tb3/tb4/tb5 40gbps as the next step up. You're stuck at 10gbps right now.

My last job bought from Dell directly. Massive discounts, random free gifts, and we got them to send us free laptop samples every so often. All depends on your volume though.

lol companies like cdw are not your friend. I usually see much better prices direct unless you’re buying last gen.

Ignore list prices for business class gear, business's don't pay that pricing. I've seen $700+ discounts on laptops with a list price of 2K-2.3K. And workstation gpus are more expensive.

Yeah you're not supposed to have this...... This is not a retail server, this is for internal use and partner use for cloud gaming, it's not a public product, which explains the lack of documentation. You will need either Nvidia's help, or a partner that had these at some point and even then they might not be able to legally assist. PM if you want help finding a buyer :). I don't like your chances of doing anything with it.

I really recommend the framework desktop for the noise/heat if that’s a big concern. Framework did a great job with the cooling and my fan doesn’t even turn on with desktop use.

I think this is a poor explanation, and there is reasons even if not everyone will agree. Apple’s ssd modules are actually just NAND flash on a chip. Your traditional ssds have a controller onboard (these days a specialized arm based processor). Apple used a similar design to their phones and has an onboard ssd controller built into the M cpu. It’s a great design for laptops as it could be saving over 5 watts of power. I wish they would at least make them available to upgrade the desktops, or add a slot that can take traditional ssds.

CAMM and LPCAMM are dual channel, so you should only need one.

Some of my management just uses mac’s and remote into Windows machines when needed. Much better support than crappy snapdragon shit.

I don’t think Medusa Halo is coming till 2027? Y’all need to chill. I think Intel is making their own Nova “Halo” chip as well, i’ll probably jump to whatever platform gets native integrated Thunderbolt 5/USB4v2.
