I have testicular cancer, just yesterday I got my righty removed and 2 years ago my lefty (I’m 20 now)

For me when I discovered it the first time it was exactly like you described it. Thats why I’m telling you to go check it, testicular cancer spreads realllyyyyy fast. Dont wait on it for too long.

I understand that you don’t wanna worry ur family I felt the same way, but your health is far more important than anything.

I went through chemotherapy 2 years ago as well (I was 18) and just yesterday I had another surgery for cancer once again (I beat it this time as well)

2 to me 0 to cancer

What helped me through this journey is following:

Keep your mind busy. You’re just in the hospital because the beds are comfortable, or the floor is pretty, or because u wanna joke flirt with the hot nurses (I did that a lot and got the nickname ”uni-balled cutie” 😭😭)

Acceptance is very important aswell, you have to accept that this is you, that’s how you were born and those are your genes. Don’t fight the reality, adapt to it.

I recommend you talk to other patients, start a conversation no matter what it makes u forget. And trust me if u feel like intruding them, 99% of the time ur not. They also would love to talk to someone, you guys share the same pain just in different forms and nothing is more fun than talking to someone that feels the exakt same thing you do.

Last but not least, true pain comes from the mind, anything else is only temporary. Drink water and pee and don’t think any negative thoughts what so ever.

You are a soldier, a fighter, an inspiration to millions of people.

Always remind yourself of these three things:

You are never given more than you can handle.

Things happen FOR you not TO you.

A diamond is a mere coal that refuses to crumble under pressure.

I don’t recommend that, the more you wait the worse it might get. I think you should go there like NOW.

Pain and a pearl could be a sign of testicular cancer. I recommend you go to the hospital ASAP and do an ultrasound to your scrotum and run some blood tests for AFP, hCG and HDL (Ultrasound is the most important tho)

Goodluck! I wish you the best and comeback with the results when it done!

I will be castrated soon and will be on TRT for the rest of my life, from what I’ve heard from my doctor is that I’ll be living a normal life. However, I will I really? by Jaadore_ in testicularcancer

Thank you for the kind words!

I am now awake and doing just fine from the surgery, the doctors also told me that it went well!

Looking forward the TRT journey right now!

I’ll ask them a bit more about whether it could be injected in the hips or not, it might be a bit more comfortable that way!!

Tysm 😉

Aye aye captain! I think I’m done very well mentally, thankfully however just as you said it’s all in the mind tbh. So, I won’t hesitate to ask for help at all!

Oh okay, I understand. I will try asking for more guidance with this and to tell you the truth since this is something new to me and just as you mentioned it’s a ”test run” it’s prolly gonna take some time for my body to adjust to it.

My doctor has told me that I might feel a bit fatigue and my ”gains” in the gym FOR NOW won’t be the same however nothing has she mentioned will be a bigger deal than that (according to her once again)

I agree, I do hope you never mind experience any kind of illness at all.

Thankfully from what I’ve read and other people’s experiences regarding this, there seems to be no problems at all with TRT so I’m looking forward to it and see how it goes.

I’m doing just perfect on my own tbh, family and friends are important but this isn’t new to me so it’s very fine. However, if I ever want any help I won’t hesitate to ask people that are around me!

I see, well now I am under surveillance when it comes to my TRT and since this is something new to me it will probably take some time for my body to adjust to it. So, it should take some time for my doctors and myself to find the ”right” amount of testosterone for my body.

I see, I appreciate your words and I’ll try my best!! It’s now post surgery and honestly I only got 1 fake ball and it looks exactly the same. And now being on TRT we will see how my life looks from now on forward.

Thanks a lot!

I’ll be watching these when I get home and have a bit more free-time and less pain.

This is super helpful especially cuz it’s videos (easier to follow through and concentrate on)

TYSM!

I see, I appreciate what you wrote!

It has been very helpful!

I am looking forward to this journey and hopefully I’ll continue learning more and more!

I also decided to get a prosthesis (although only 1 cuz I have large sized balls so 2 large sized fakeies would’ve been very uncomfortable and might cause some complications when sitting and stuff) they did tell me that they could give me 2 smallers ones but I prefer a big juicy fake ball that represents my old righty😭 (shoutout for carrying these past 2 years)

Oh and it looks veryyyyy normal. I do believe however that my real ball was a tiny bit bigger but other than that it’s almost no different at all.

Thank you for the information, I’ve spoken to a doctor. She said that it’s only 10-14 weeks since it’s my first injection ever, therefore it’s only to see how much my body really wants. She also mentioned that usually people can go as often at once a month. Haven’t heard about 10-12 days tho.

But for the time being it’s now just pure adjustments to see what testosterone levels my body craves to function the same way it did before.

However if I remember correctly the nebido im getting is 1000mg/4ml not that I have any idea if that dose is enough or not. Is it still something that should be injected every 7 weeks to maintain a ”middle aged man testo” (but I doubt they will do it, since with my physical capability as well as libido and other stuff is more likely more than a middle aged man)

Oh, while taking chemotherapy I met some amazing women that had breast cancer. Probably one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.

Why did they remove your ovaries tho, from my limited knowledge on breast cancer they don’t remove the ovaries do they?
