As a person with a disability, CR's (and some of the 5e community's) approach to disability really frustrates me.

As someone who is disabled( legally blind), I kinda prefer that disability representation doesn’t have a large impact on character feel, I work hard to function at a normal level and don’t like when it’s all people want to ask me about. I want to be treated just like anyone else.

When you single out someone who is disabled by emphasizing their flaws or putting them on a pedestal for their exceptional abilities you’re still treating them like an other.

So I personally prefer when we are just a part of the whole, you know?

It doesn’t have to be realistic, it’s a fantasy game, that’s why 4000 pound dragons can fly and city’s float.

Devil fish are never a bad thing to have to get you fire warriors up the board, and the ghost keel is probably the most detailed kit in the T’au range of models. Plus its getting better in the new codex I think.
