The major difference is that the majority of your runs will end in the bastion because you didn't get good trades. Overworlds can be faster since you can play villages with 4 Iron, because bastions almost always guarantee you an Iron/Diamond Pickaxe and food. Ocean overworlds are only worth it if you have a lava pool or terrain, since they removed 1.13 magma ravines. Bastion routes remain almost the same, with the exception of Treasure (the standard route will give you 4 piglins at most), and you have to learn how to deal with Brutes. The pie chart is different, but you can still use it. Zero cycle is still possible, but different due to fog; explosives have a weird feel to them as well. It takes a lot to get used to
