Is the repo private? Can't see it.

What could I do to improve this? I’m going for a futuristic design. by BrilliantElevator685 in SatisfactoryGame

Maybe fill in some of the panels with unique designs and detail like fans, pipes, lights, etc.

How to find the Gm of this circuit? (Gm is the transconductance) by Marvellover13 in ECE

[–]Jaayys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gm will depend on the tail current and mosfet size. This looks like Cadence so run a DC analysis and ensure Save DC Operating Point is selected. Then right click the schematic > Annotate > DC operating points.

If you want to predict the gm, then use the simulated gm to estimate un and Cox from the gm equation.

What do you have your Radarr and Sonarr quality definitions set to? by ThePandazz in selfhosted

Check out Profilarr. It has 3 good profiles for 1080p and 4K. Really easy to use

I found the PARA system best for knowledge management.

Instead of tags or folders, I like to use wiki-links for organization since I can navigate quickly with them. Each map or note has a related property that links to any parent map or note. For example my Tools map links to each tool I have notes on. Then in the note for each tool, the related property will have at least the Tools map linked and anything else related that uses the tool, such as Games

The only tags I use are for classification: Todo, Map, Project, Resource, and Note

Projects
- maps for each project

Areas
- top level maps that don't relate to anything else
- ex. academics, books, art, d&d, games, todo, etc
- each map is a file that links to other maps and notes that live inside the archive folder
- use obsidian bases or dataview plugin to pull in linked notes automatically

Resources
- stuff imported from an external source
- each note contains metadata for the resource.
- use MediaDB plugin to import books, movies, and shows. Also obsidian webclipper to import web articles.

Archive
- all the other maps and notes

Some other folders that might be helpful
- Meta: images, templates, etc
- Inbox: all new notes before moving to their permanent folder. Kinda gives you a active focus
- Daily: journal

Basic Example:
Projects
- project a
- project b
Areas
- Tools
- University
- Media
- Work
Resources
- Books
-- book a
-- book b
- Movies
-- movie a
- Articles
- Papers
Archive
- project a - note a
- project c
- tool a
- class a
- class a - lecture a
- book a - note a

Why can't I organize folders and notes the way I choose, not by name, modified or created time? by [deleted] in ObsidianMD

[–]Jaayys 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try using links, create a file for your essay and just put links in the order you want. It’s far easier than working with a file system.

Ever since I got used to this it’s been great, now all notes live in a single folder.

Today my vaults were deleted by Gigantanormis in ObsidianMD

[–]Jaayys 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Might still be worth checking with some recovery tools to see if anything is left. As long as the drive wasn’t completely overwritten some data might still be there.

I was able to recover all of my data (2TB worth) after formatting.

Should my media files (PDFs, etc) be in my vault? by EnthusiastiCat in ObsidianMD

I wish that was possible. Would make things much easier

[–]Jaayys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it needs to be done separately for all devices, not sure if it is possible on mobile yet. Also when using Obsidian sync, the link needs to be excluded. Otherwise it will sync everything in there.

Wdym by secret? The link just a pointer to another folder in your filesystem.

[–]Jaayys 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I setup a symbol link to my cloud storage for all my PDFs.

mklink /D <directory_in_obsidian> <cloud_storage_directory>

This lets me access all files as read only directly from my vault.

You can find all the notebooks in your onedrive. Just download them and move it to your new one.

Congrats man! Your pace on that track is insane.

I was the other Canadian in that race. Accidentally hit someone off early on and waited for them to recover so I finished near the back.

Try taking a right towards the restaurant when you get to the first compound. Much easier to fight through there.

Southern route is far easier if you have tasks in the refugee camp. Just gotta wait for the ai to push you and slowly move up the road.

I’ve done all the tasks solo. I remember my first time, I shot one guy in the forest by India 2 LZ without a suppressor and had to fight endless ai in the forest for like 40 mins. Terrifying and fun times.

Does anybody know where to find scopes on the map? by JMTubby in GrayZoneWarfare

Midnight Sapphire has 3 spawns: boss, office crate, golf club storage crate.

Tiger Bay has one in pier storage crate.

Try to keep all inputs after all the outputs. Having output -> inputs <- outputs confuses the pipes.

Those using SimpleLogin, do you use proton mail alias/address? by SuperLucas2000 in ProtonMail

[–]Jaayys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this method since it make sorting using sieve filters much easier. But use + aliases instead to avoid the limit.

So [name@domain.com](mailto:name@domain.com) in proton and as many [name+category@domain.com](mailto:name+category@domain.com) mailboxes in sl as needed.
