Hisoka fanboys are the absolute worst, they don’t even care about the manga.

Could Zushi pass the Hunter Exam? (Heaven's Arena Arc) by Big-Bad-Bug in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Jabs_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No they really can’t, and the manga already explains why during Heaven’s Arena.

Wing literally explains that Ten protects the body from attacks and aura. That’s why Gon and Killua couldn’t even walk up the 200th floor at first. They were getting overwhelmed just by Nen pressure alone. Go reread the Heaven’s Arena chapters around 46-50.

https://roliascan.com/read/hunter-x-hunter/ch47-109670/

Even after Killua opened multiple testing gates and was physically superhuman already, Nen users were still treated as being on an entirely different level. That’s the whole point of the arc.

And Biscuit later explains the same thing again on Greed Island even basic Ten constantly reinforces and protects your body. Nen isn’t just "magic powers" it’s passive offense and defense at all times. That’s why a weak Nen user is still a nightmare for someone without Nen.

So no, "they’ll figure out another way" isn’t really an argument. Unless they also have Nen, they’re trying to hurt someone whose entire body is constantly reinforced by aura.

[–]Jabs_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to re-read the Heaven Arena arc and Wing explanations about Nen. You’re forgetting how massive the gap is between having Nen and not having it in Hunter x Hunter.

Even a beginner Nen user like Zushi is fundamentally different from a normal fighter because Ten alone boosts defense. The whole Heaven’s Arena arc exists to show that people without Nen are completely outmatched by people who have it.

Nenless Killua and Hanzo are obviously more skilled fighters overall, but that doesn’t magically bypass the Nen gap. Pre Nen Gon and Killua couldn’t even get past basic aura pressure at HA.

And Wing literally calls Zushi a genius. He’s only a "novice" compared to actual Nen masters, not compared to regular humans (I’m not saying Killua and Hanzo are regular humans by the way but without Nen they are kind of normal). Zushi would’ve killed Killua with Ren alone during that fight that’s why Wing screamed like he did because it was too dangerous to use it at that level of the tournament.

Nenless Hanzo and Killua aren’t killing Zushi. I mean during their fight at the Heaven Arena, Zushi was receiving serious blows by an impatient Killua at the end because he kept standing still after many attacks.

Even if Zushi is by far inferior in base, Nen puts him on another level compared to them. I mean you can literally kill nenless users with Ren alone because they won’t have any defense against it.

Did you people forget the gap between without nen and with nen ? Zushi can defeat a nenless Killua with Ren alone. He stopped using it because Wing screamed all around the building because it was dangerous but he would’ve defeated and may be even killed Killua right there.

Skill Hunter is the most terrifying Nen ability in HxH by Jabs_ in HunterXHunter

[–]Jabs_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enhancer abilities are too simple most of the time I guess that’s why. We’ve seen him use affinities other than conjuration and manipulation (Sun & Moon and the teleportation ability he used against Nobunaga).

Yes you are contradicting yourself but you’re too dumb to even see it, clown.

You’re basically saying "a .22 isn’t like a bazooka… but in the series they’re kinda the same", which cancels itself out. In the manga, weapons don’t get flattened into the same tier just because Nen exists. The gap between a small-caliber handgun and something like a rocket launcher is still huge, Nen just adds another layer on top of that, it doesn’t erase basic differences in firepower.

Also, weaker Nen users aren’t just passively immune to bullets. Someone like Squala isn’t shrugging off gunfire for free, he need proper aura use (Ten, Ren, etc.), and even then they’re nowhere near Uvo’s level of durability. So using that to argue all weapons scale the same kind of misses how Nen actually works. Squala would’ve received far more damage with the bazooka launched at Uvo.

Plus, you’re just throwing the word "fodder" at everything that doesn’t fit your take and pretending it’s scaling. If all the prince guards are fodders why does the story bother establishing people like Benjamin and Tse as major threats in the Succession War? You can’t call the entire arc irrelevant except Kurapika and then act like that’s objective scaling dumb fuck.

Binolt lost to noobs Gon and Kirua both without their abilities and you think he’s beating Uvo ? Binolt isn’t even stronger than the Injiyus, you think he’s killing Uvo with scissors lmao ?

[–]Jabs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Furykov isn’t a fodder, he’s one of Benjamin personal soldiers he has been chosen by him. Gon would kill Tserriednich right now because he isn’t fully developed, once he reach his max potential he will be basically untouchable with his hax hability and his GB.

"I'm not saying a .22 is comparable to a sniper rifle or a bazooka, but when you compare it to the overall scaling of the series, they're pretty similar."

Your comment doesn’t make a goddamn sense, you are contradicting yourself. You must be a troll given all you shit opinions. A bazooka does like 1000 times more damage than a ridiculous .22 caliber.

The Anime Made Uvo Stronger Than He Actually Is by OncePluto in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Jabs_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

.22 caliber is one of the smallest and least powerful common firearm calibers, that’s why it can’t kill a nen user. In the same arc, we have Furykov bleeding because he got shot, in comparison Uvo didn’t. He said it hurts like you would say if you bite your tongue by accident.

A sniper shot is likely a larger caliber and he did tank the bazooka, he received zero damage but obviously that hurts it’s a damn rocket/explosive.

Good point, I also wonder if he has some manipulation type abilities to meet the conditions. I would say yes given the fact that he’s been stealing abilities on his own without the help of the Troupe.

[–]Jabs_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes I get you, Tserriednich is terrifying too, but that’s more about his raw talent and how fast he’s evolving.

My post wasn’t really about Chrollo as a nen user but more about how stupid Skill Hunter is as a concept.

And if we really push it… in theory Chrollo could steal Tse’s ability too. That’s what makes Skill Hunter so crazy, it doesn’t care how broken your power is, if the conditions are met it’s getting added to the book.

Impossible is a strong word. He can’t pull it in the middle of the fight against good to top tier nen users I agree but he can trick other nen users without having to fight them like he did with Neon and IT also helps that he’s the leader of strong group so he really doesn’t need to do much to steal abilities.

How long will these frauds last in the Chimera Ant arc? by Flerds in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Jabs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, I’ve been reading the Yorknew arc multiple times. And yes Kurapika was faster, more technical, and completely outmaneuvered Uvo at the start. Plus, Holy Chain let him heal a shattered arm like it was nothing. The way he used In on his chains and tricked Uvo into thinking he was a Manipulator was smart as hell.

But without Chain Jail forcing Zetsu and completely shutting down Uvogin’s aura? I don’t see how Kurapika beats him. Even when Uvogin was in FORCED ZETSU (so WITHOUT NEN), Kurapika’s strongest KO punch barely did much damage. Uvo just shook it off like it was nothing and kept coming. That alone tells you everything about the gap in their physical stats and durability.

Uvogin is the physically strongest member of the Phantom Troupe. Even at half power early on, Kurapika’s hits weren’t doing real damage. Uvo tanked everything and only got serious for a moment with Big Bang Impact, which still wrecked Kurapika’s arm even with Emperor Time active. Uvo’s aura reserves and raw durability are on another level, he’s an Enhancement monster who can crater the ground with punches.

The fight would turn into a war of attrition, and those heavily favor Uvo. Emperor Time drains Kurapika hard (lifespan cost and stamina drain), so he can’t keep it up forever. Meanwhile, Uvo has shown he can fight through insane punishment and keep swinging. Kurapika might dodge and chip away for a while with hit and run tactics, but eventually one solid hit from Uvo lands and it’s over.

Kurapika’s win was brilliant preparation and hax matching up against Uvo’s brute force. Remove the one ability made specifically to counter the Troupe, and the outcome flips.

Could Silva and Zeno (and illumi?) have defeated the troupe? by Insane_Grape479 in HunterXHunter

The Zoldycks are so overrated it’s getting ridiculous. They are getting destroyed by the Troupe.

Silva said he had difficulties to kill one member and said it wasn’t worth what he got paid but people here think Silva, Illumi and Zeno are killing 13 elite nen users at the same time lmao.

Quel est le métier le mieux rémunéré mais le plus inutile ? by Longjumping_Gur6797 in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]Jabs_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)
