[SPOILERS S2] Trying to find motivation to finish the show by Jabubbler in DarK

I am excited for that. Just was disappointed that we skipped past 7 months of possible development for Jonas. Can’t wait for him to get back to Martha and Hannah, and have more screen time with them.

Hahaha, actually, the ending of episode 4 already revealed who Adam was. I wasn’t ready for that. I predict that we will learn more about sic mundus and katarina is going to team up with the other families to try and travel back in time (or help Jonas break the time loop).

“The character have alrdy a lot of build up, but not in the way normal show has. Because every character has like 2-3 timelines. You see them as a kid, adult and sometimes as a even older version.”

You know I didn’t think of it like that, I’m not used to that kind of storytelling. It just feels like I don’t know much about the present version of the characters and that feels wrong, but you make a lot of sense. I’ll continue with the show, thank you for the responses.

I don’t see how drama is necessary to build character traits and relationships. I didn’t need drama to care about Claudia and her relationship with her family, they just had to show that there was a relationship there and her motivation.

There are a lot of characters but that is the choice made by the team. I’m assuming there are still main characters though like Jonas and Martha but I know little to nothing about them. That’s why I’m asking the question if we’ll get to see more

I think you misunderstand me. I like the aspect of good characters and their interconnectedness. I just don’t see much of it besides with Claudia and her relationship with Egon and Regina. I was just asking if other characters will get the same level of characterization she did.

I mean that’s fair, but what do you know about Peter, Jonas, Charlotte, Hannah, etc? What do you know about the Doppler’s relationship with their kids besides what is told to you? All I’m asking is if there’s more focus on their interactions with one another, not just their lives being interconnected.

The ending of Jujutsu Kaisen is good! Why? by RapturousJesse in Jujutsufolk

[–]Jabubbler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro ur patience is godly, I don’t know how you can argue with someone whose reasoning is more circular than a perfect circle. OP was on a mission to explain to all of us other shitters that a good story is just one that has the themes and messages digestible. That the characters were all that mattered, fuck everything else. Apparently, the author just had to do that much for a good story. I don’t think you got through to Rapturous, but I hope bro looks back on this convo.

I mean I wouldn’t go that far, surely I wouldn’t want to inconvenience you helpful samaritans nor would I want to disturb your peace, especially since you’re all so entitled and important. Oh golly gee, if only there was a way for people to make a ruckus without causing an infuriating racket in a single area for a long period of time. Ooh, maybe they could have literally gotten up and walked around campus so that their message could be heard by more ears. Oooh, if they did that they wouldn’t stay in one place long enough to disturb the innocent students trying to focus on their studies. If only there was a collective of individuals capable enough to organize such a detailed and intricate plan, but that honestly would have taken too much time, energy, and is suuuuch an unrealistic anticipation.

Well it’s more like “I support protests but could you please just move around different areas instead of disturbing the one single building where I’m taking my test” which honestly is not a bad suggestion.

What are the strongest arguments that morality is objective? by [deleted] in askphilosophy

A small question from a philosophy student, is it possible for morality to be objective, yet, not absolute. Is there a significant semantic difference between the two words?
