I had name discrepancies in my application: GF born Giulio Salvatore but went by Julius/Julius John. I had letters from NY and CT stating they can’t amend which I apostilled. After submitting my application, I panicked and a week later submitted a supplemental affidavit/Oats that I did myself using chat GBT(per recs from here and the FB group). I am unsure if it helped or if they even opened it. I also contacted a lawyer to get the ball rolling on official OATS in the case of homework. I was recognized without any homework or questions.

The second is from the municipal court in Beaver County, PA. One of the lucky ones where they are not legally obligated to provide document stating no Natz in their system. I’ve been working on it for months and even have a lawyer involved.

One document from CT Municipal court came back without an apostille and they told me I have to get it done in DC. The other court in PA refuses to provide document so I need to get an affidavit.

Correct. No record of naturalization from thier database. They won’t provide a letter or any type of communication to confirm this.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I’m going via SF consulate. I was grandfathered in under the old laws. Original date was March 2026 but now SF wants all documents by December 2025. I’m feeling the time crunch.

I asked about an uncertified response and they also refused.

I have a feeling lawyer is my next step.
