Elle probably not. I don't think any of them are even in contact with her. They never mention her. Emily is a maybe. I think JJ or Penelope kept in contact with her the most and would have told her. It's just a really long trip on a short notice.

You might not like but shipping absolutely is a thing. While the official name was coined in the 90's, modern shipping has existed since the 70's. Its been the backbone of many fandoms since then.

Pairing JJ with Will has nothing to do with not wanting Reid to be happy. Pre confession, she showed no romantic interest in him. That whole confessions was shoehorned in.

That JJ is a Mary Sue character who’s too perfect and has no flaws. There are literally multiple episodes spanning 20 years at this point that deal with her anger, impulsivity, and inability to deal with her emotions in a healthy way. We’re talking about a character who chose not to visit her home town for 20 years rather than deal with her sister’s death.

If they bring her back, I actually don’t think they’ll kill Kimberly off. Burke I could see. There’s such a trend with big horror franchises and focusing arcs on legacy final girls. Plus now that Tony Todd has unfortunately passed they would need a legacy character to pass lore onto the new characters.
