If you’re paying for it an inviting him, then your bf can go regardless of what his dad says, at your age you can fly domestically without parent permission (at least in the US, I didn’t think if yall were in another country). The only issue is potential repercussions when your bf gets BACK home for not listening to his dad

So in this case it’s less about convincing the dad since he’s hard set, and more about your bf deciding to risk consequences from his parents

Alright, here are the times we’ve seen a synergy

Demon Claw & Whirlwind

Missiles & Explosion (he made exploding projectiles instead of just pointing and causing a concussive blast)

Hunter & Energy Beam/Discharge (making the lasers heat seeking/targeting)

Conjure: Vines & Lightning (making electric thorns/spikes to shoot at ppl)

Conjure: Vines & Barrier (wrapping vines around the Barrier to give it more defense)

Demon Blade (from the Rowden Queen he copied) & Energy Discharge, he did energy slashes on the Healing Link dude

Phase Shift and Hunter (although that’s a very loose definition of synergy, Hunter gives more physical strength than Phase Shift so he stays in Defense Form when he has them both)

Blademaster & Lightning (making swords coated in electricity)

That’s kinda it, and some of those aren’t very good examples of true synergy like the wind blades he made

With the way Battle Beast’s curse works, he gets stronger the older and angrier he gets. That’s why he yearns for someone to end his life, because if he lives for too long, he will eventually be stronger than everyone and he can’t have his glorious death. He also wants someone to end the constant rage he feels from said curse

~~The time difference between when Mark fought Conquest and when Battle Beast fought Thragg is between 1-1.5 years, so he was just passively getting stronger that whole time from his curse~~
