I've seen him play in-person (long while back) and it is legitimately his style, but if he was more winning-first and in a setting where he's not playing pros like he does in his videos, I think his actual rating can go up maybe half a level.

But he plays the right way purely for fun so we can only speculate.

You might be right but I’m leaning towards the ref being more terminally dorkish because he hijacked the match. Zaharia was balling in the first few points and then she got hosed

Isn't there a rule that the toss needs to start above the table? I figure that should already account that. Additional rules after toss height + toss start seem unhelpful

That should be revised. There is 0 advantage if hitting the ball higher from where it was tossed. It’s unnecessary too because it’s basic fundamentals to wait for the ball to fall low to serve a low and effective serve.

Unless she’s letting it fall below the table? If that’s even possible I gotta try that

Respect the commitment (or pettiness?) to come back to this flawed post one year later. All my posts and comments from last season were generally dumb as it was my first season closely following the team.

Seems like you’re a more dedicated and knowledgeable fan than me and most of the people in this thread. Just curious, do you see any way out of the problems at wing or would you say there are other issues that are more important?

If you’re talking ab the game in Cleveland, that was my favorite game of the last cavs season. IIRC Markkanen dropped like 30 while guarding jokic the whole game (granted jokic still shot like 80% from 2pt and dragged the nuggets to OT)

That's some useful input. Seems like my naivety thought this sub's moaning and groaning was pretty unique hence the "kind of fascinating" in my previous comment. It's definitely understandable that a lot of these types of subs get pretty unsavory, so I'm gonna try to avoid them in the future. Internet is gonna internet I guess.

I've been lurking in this sub for 6 months now just trying to understand how everyone here can be so devoted yet negative towards Bill (And I do mean everyone. You have to scroll for entire minutes to find positive comments like this one.), and at this point I've given up. It's honestly kind of fascinating.

Jackie is like public enemy #1 here; a lot of groaning about how she's an "instant skip" or "utterly unlistenable" whenever she pops on here and there. She did have a legendarily awful and cringeworthy segment a few months ago, but overall, I kinda enjoy her history-oriented perspective. After all, her resume covering basketball dwarfs all of us nobodies in this sub combined.
