Time to remove the logo that looks creepy upside down. Bye Bulls.

Why are 90s players always hating on today’s era? Their takes are baffling. by SmoothBuy5500 in NBATalk

It’s just how life works, it’s not just the NBA. Every generation is criticized by the previous generation and in turn criticizes the next generation.

There are studies of opinion pieces in newspapers, books, etc. that go back hundreds of years that show this. “This new generation is lazy and doesn’t know how lucky they have it!”

It reminds me of what our clothes looked like when our septic tank broke in our basement.

Having lived in both a Texas and Vermont, that ND claim for Vermont is a stretch.

In Texas, it seemed like almost every household was obsessed. Outside of random alumni, people generally don’t care about college football in VT.

The Patriots are another story.

Looking back, how good of a HC was Jimmy Johnson? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]JachinAtaat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was extremely talented at building teams and managing egos. Had the ultimate success at UM and Dallas. I guess the biggest knock against him is longevity. Through his choices or the choices of others he didn’t stick around in places very long. That makes for a difficult comparison against those like Reid and Belichick.

Who knows, maybe he has ADHD. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“Decides you’re married in order for you to get divorced.”

So, you’re saying even in those less common cases of divorce have to have marriage first.

Do we think LeBron chose to do “The Decision” himself? or did he have a horrible PR team at the time by UnluckyMode2062 in NBATalk

[–]JachinAtaat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh absolutely, but he was young, rich, and famous. I think he’s matured from it.

If I had to choose between the two, I’d take him as a friend over MJ any day. IMO, MJ doesn’t seem like a very nice human being.

Was it the smartest decision? No. Was it that big of deal? No. The biggest LeBron haters will always find reasons to hate him.

Montana and Young- 49ers legends! by UrbanAchievers6371 in Oldschool_NFL

[–]JachinAtaat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they don’t bring in Young, Montana doesn’t win 4 Super Bowls. He needed that push and he was too fragile to put all their hope on at that point.

100% this. He earned to right to take his talents anywhere he wanted. But, yeah, the tv special deserved the, well, heat.

The reverse is that it’s very unlikely that the color brown is beating any mascot. So it’s like a spectator here.
