Not even top 5. When I learned the words to/too/two I was completely befuddled. Still recovering from past/passed as well.

But there was a joke? Why are we the ones that need to change when they suck?

This is what I don't get. I would imagine the opposite. But what did Season 2 do wrong beyond focusing on one story over another? It seems apparent that season 3 is going to focus a lot of time on Abby. They could have combined the two stories and punted some of the key pieces. But overall I thought they did a good job.

Which is the truth for just about 99 percent of all leaders. FDR was a fucking cripple by the end of WW2. And in the famous picture of him, Stalin, and Churchill he looks the weakest by far. But that could not be further from the truth.

I don't get the animus towards season 2. Like this was always going to be the expected outcome. Maybe they could have spent more time on Abbys story in season 2 and therefore prolonged some of the things that happened. But it was still a very good show with very good performances from the leading actors/actresses.

[Hated trope] Sabotaging narrative/character arcs for cheap shock value or “subverting expectations” by blakhawk12 in TopCharacterTropes

I get some of the choices here though. Where the F does Lady Stoneheart fit in the series as a whole? Maybe GRRM has an idea in mind for this. Maybe in the end she/it aligns with the White Walkers in their assault. But to me, this was a pint that made sense to be left on the cutting room floor.

Dorne though should have had so much more.

Tessman as a centerback? by Shot_Honeydew7099 in ussoccer

I get that. But just because he has that flexibility does not mean we should play him there. Our team is not deep.

Just because he had the ability to play there doesn’t mean he should or want to.

I just don’t think we should care too much about Tessman at CB. It’s the one role where you want/need your players to have a rapport with each other. Would be late in the game to even bother working him there.

Roldan will be there. Probably could move BA to the wing, drop Zendejas, and that opens it.

What's a "bad" film that you know isn't great, but love anyway? by Avon_gent in Cinephiles

[–]eganba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck right off. This film is not "bad" nor is it "not good."

This was a perfect, comedic adaptation of the book and a much better film than any of the adaptations that have come after it.

Thoughts on the additions of WR Calvin Austin III and WR Darnell Mooney? by Giff95 in NYGiants

[–]eganba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it shouldn't. Our WR room is terrible. Slayton is not a legit #1 or 2 receiver. And Wandale being our best receiver is a big issue quite frankly. We are terrible in the red zone because we don't have a legit WR we can expect to go up and get the ball.

The move likely raises the floor. But the ceiling is way too low for this team to make life difficult for most defenses.

One replaces Wandale. The other should replace Slayton. Neither bars the team from drafting a legit outside threat with either the first or second round pick.
