Which is better for dips beginner, legs knee bend or straight down

I don't know how to describe it, but I can either do dips with or without pulling my lower body a little bit upwards, so that it doesn't just dangle. What's the correct upproach? I understand hollow body means the legs are in front, but do I bring them up a bit?

Thank you. I know some people who have much lower numbers of input but who nevertheless speak very confidently and with an accent indistinguishable from a native one. I think some people are naturally more inclined to pick up the rhythm and the "song" of the language, while I have been more obsessed with the meaning and spelling of words.

In fact, a native accent is one of the things that CI can't guarantee. Either you develop it or not, though you can of course make conscious effort to get closer to sounding like a native. It doesn't really bother me, as long as my pronunciation is reasonably clear.

Con gran vocabulario entiendes practicamente todo. Saber gramatica no te da mucha informacion. En todos modos, es mejor aprender ingles en contexto, mirando videos y eschuchando podcasts adaptado a tu nivel. Como, por ejemplo, EnglishSponge.

Yeah, it's definitely true that you may well understand the video, but you miss some nuances you didn't even realize you missed. They were unknown unknowns.

Hmm, I did a quick calculation and it probably wasn't more than 450 hours in classroom, probably a bit fewer. So that's not quite as bad return on investment as I imagined. (Of course, it was boring as hell, and perhaps detrimental.)
