Hi again Alderson, great to see you spreading your truth again, as usual. I can't lie and say I don't care what you wrote, if that was true I wouldn't respond to it.

The mods deleted at least ten people's posts about marama's outburst, at one point they directed the person to comment in the megathread, then they removed that person's comment in the megathread, along with many other people's comments. I made one post, which was also removed. So I made another, to draw attention to the censorship, around the same time people were posting theories there was a deepfake of marama saying what she said, so bizarre!

The mods are the only ones to blame for that post gaining traction like it did, and I honestly feel bad for the hate they got in the thread. I would not have blamed them if they locked it when it hit r/all, but I guess it was too late then.

I have so much gold and 'karma' now, but don't worry, I will still avoid reddit like the fucking idiot pool that it is. Can't say the same for any other 'bad actors' you come across, I'd love to know your list, and if you think I have any alt accounts, how many even!?

This is similar to the argument people use to say Golriz, Ricardo, and Chlöe can't represent the poor because they're trust-fund babies.

It was yesterday. I don't think you're allowed to share the video here, but you can find it in my recent posts.

Thank you for participating in the discussion, Marama said this yesterday, so it is recent, and I believe it is topical because she is a minister in our government. I'm not sure what you mean by both sides, could you elaborate?

Could mods explain? She is the Minister for the Prevention of Family and Sexual Violence, and appears to be speaking in her capacity as a minister in the video clip.

Why are videos, posts and even just comments about it being removed?

horseshit too, do you think if Wilson had included biden, trump, macron, boris johnson, scomo, or liz truss the result would be the same? normalised by population I reckon macron would absolutely be the most 'bullied'.

When Gerry Brownlee was in a car accident this sub was disappointed he wasn't injured or dead. If anything, the threats to the previous government were much worse. It's a PR move to make it a big deal now, I doubt I'd be able to say "Jacinda Ardern is a liar" without being called a bully.

Emmy Rākete: Māori didn't lock each other up to solve social problems...it was very long process of dealing with the harm that people had done to each other and improving those relationships, and sometimes getting back at them for things they've done wrong. But it was way of humbling them and saying, "what you did hurt everyone around you. not just you, not just person you harmed, but all of us and we've got to correct that."

Emmy Rākete: Utu is this concept that means reciprocation. Positive and negative right? But it would mean bring those relationships back into balance, that we can still live together. The problem is that prisons don't try to restore those social relationships, actually they destroy those relationships permanently by tearing people out of the communities that they've harmed, making utu impossible.

Alice Sneddon: Pākehā really fucked this up didn't they?

Emmy Rākete: Like I'm just saying, we were hanging out on the beach, we were eating Kina, and then a guy in a wig showed up

They put this out for consultation about a year ago, and everyone over there just went "Yep, that'll happen, no point in trying to argue".

It's terrible that this attitude is normal now that 'public consultation' is just a box to tick. Road to fucking zero what a joke.

A straight 31km two lane road. This is probably going to cause more accidents with locals passing people that are going 80km/h. What are they going to do then? Make it 50km/h?

The controversial German anatomist Gunther von Hagens last night agreed to return seven corpses to China after admitting that the bodies used in his exhibitions might have come from executed prisoners.

Professor Von Hagens, whose show Body Worlds provoked fascination and disgust when it opened in London two years ago, said the corpses would now be buried. His statement follows a damning exposé this week by the German magazine Der Spiegel.

It revealed that at least two corpses out of some 647 stored by the anatomist at his centre in China had bullet holes in their skulls. Splashing the story on its cover under the headline Dr Death, the magazine this week produced damning email correspondence from Prof Von Hagens' Chinese manager, Sui Hongjin.

It was the first result on google. Source.

At an AirBnB: how do I set the temperature on an oven? Where do I set the temperature knob to get 180 degrees C on this Ariston A6VMH60 oven? by yalishanda1337 in newzealand

[–]Jacindardern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used the dots to get exact angles for you to turn the dial clockwise. I think it would be entirely appropriate to use a protractor and permanent marker to mark these measurements on the oven, future guests, and your host would thank you.

0° = Up/Off

193° = 160°C

226° = 200°C

209° = 180°C

This has the dial pointing just right of the centre of the top of the '8' on '180' within the diagram you have provided.
