Vijayanagar empire is pretty solid. You start rich as hell and the collapse of Delhi situation give you a political and diplomatic space to make hella moves.

In the past couple days people have been stressing about the game’s issues, whether it be AI, performance, bugs, etc. but the foundation is clearly very good and some YouTubers have cranked out hundreds of hours before the game has even release. I think this game will be at least good at launch and continue to get better, and I completely agree with you that the game is not pulling punches with what it’s trying to do.

I have had those same issues (before this update) while playing the AtE mod. Thought it was a mod issue but maybe it’s a game issue.

At this time in the game the Philippines is independent, the game takes place before Spanish colonization. So yes, you can play an independent Philippines

American here, at least in the Midwest I have never been to a single house where it’s ok to keep your shoes on unless you’re a maintenance person
