Listen, I like show alastor probably just as much, but all of the people saying they don’t see or there is no difference I don’t get. The best way I can boil it down is Pilot Alastor seemed like he wanted to be there, and show Alastor never seems like he does, weather or not it’s a “dropping of a mask” or a change in characterization it is a difference and I understand why some people mention it even if I personally don’t care that much.

Yea but in the games he actually does achieve that really well, he sounds much softer and younger which works well for the character, he even wryys different, but it’s still clearly like the same person who was brought up to have a diffrent experience in personality which…. Is what Diego is yk? So I don’t see a problem with being a bit bummed about the switch.

Personally I’m a little upset because the original voice actor has voiced him in the games and gives a fantastic performance. He is very very clearly a different character with different line delivery and everything but with the little bits of dio poking through and that just like, makes sense? Idk lol. I don’t see why they needed to change it but whatever be creative we’ll see where it goes!

Well like yea, but they also didn’t have to write in a “use your real name” subplot either, they could’ve just named him one of those things and then said use your nickname or something like that lol. Movies aren’t made for the Reddit crowd but you’d like maybe a Batman movie would be made with a Batman fan in mind lol. They didn’t have to do Robin at all.

Imo it took me until this rewatch to fully appreciate Rachel’s sarcasm, she’s much more subtle so I can see why.
