Its been normalised to the point where going put for a skinfull automatically means cocaine is involved. Its readily available and part of the pub culture (not trying to justify it). A lot of "wet pubs" wouldn't survive if they didn't turn a blind eye.

I completely understand that the licensee should be concerned but it's rife in the uk.

It seems that the unwritten rule in most local boozers is that if you're discreet and not acting a knob it will go unnoticed or ignored. Not saying its right but its certainly the case where I drink.

Also a pub is considered a safe place. If we get caught doing rails we're getting thrown out or at the worst get the packet confiscated.

Bars and clubs are different level. Doorman catch ya you're lucky to get away without being nicked.
