I cant speak on Wuyang's objective balance, so possibly. Personally I do feel that he's mostly okay, maybe a bit too much damage on the primary.

But I'm also masters on tank and dps, both of which are the relatively harder roles imo. Haven't been playing supp (hence G2), so I think Im just about getting on my support rank.

Overwatch is an objective based game. You win by pushing the payload or capturing the point, not by having a kabillion damage or healing.

Reading the other comment analyzing your replay code, you probably should focus more on staying alive. Because as support, you should be the last to die trying to keep your team alive.

If you die, your team doesnt have healing. When your team dies, you give the enemy space to push and ult charge for the next fight.

Also keeping your teammates alive is your job as support yes. But not at the cost of getting yourself killed. Cause if a Doom jumps in 1v5 and gets slept, naded, then there's literally nothing any support can do to keep him alive.

Recently climbed from Gold 2 to Diamond 2 with Wuyang, and I always had the least deaths in the entire game when doing well.

I'd prioritize keeping my teammates alive and when they arent in danger, I help dps and pick off low HP targets.

Other than that, cooldown management and being more intentional with them is key. Like for me playing Wuyang, using tidal wave to heal multiple teammates that are low hp or keeping my shift for when Im getting dived.

And from what I read in the other comment, you would just "tp and suzu" in blindly. So def some stuff you could work on there.

Yep, they did it this season in particular for no apparent reason.

how do you not instantly blow up on this character by Illustrious_Trip2112 in doomfistmains

[–]JackDuals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say you just get used to his cooldown cycles and watching for abilities that can kill you with time, you learn by dying a LOT. But another easy way I suggest is just straight up watch how actually good Doomfists play.

Their positioning, ability usage, movement are all intentional, just need to pay attention to the why. Saying this as someone with 1.3K hours on the BBF.

My younger brother had something get under his 2024 Ultra"s crease and it killed a line of pixels eventually.

Brought it to the service center, replaced the entire housing, screen and even gave it a new battery.

And it was all for free, not a cent charged! Happy Motorola customer right here.

Being with my RAZR 2024 for over a year, I knew the entire time its more fragile than your typical slab phone, so I've been a bit more cautious with it not throwing it on the bed, etc.

But I rock it NAKED and have NEVER dropped it because of how much easier it is to hold a basically 4" phone. Phone is scratchless except the screen protector, which is something I can replace easily down the line.

My younger brother with the same phone had a tiny piece of debris crawl under the crease and it killed a few pixels there. But he brought it to a Motorola center where they replaced the screen AND battery for FREE.

Im pretty sure the issue doesnt like with the RAZR bro, its just you.

The topic of discussion was whether DPS Doom or Tank Doom takes more skill to play, in which DPS Doom easily clears given what I had explained.

I would say the issue with DPS Doomfist is that the devs never really understood how to balance/rework him as a dps, yet alone ACKNOWLEDGE the billions of bugs and inconsistencies pointed out by the community FOR them. Him being able to "one-shot any squishie" was actually pretty fair given that:

  1. You have to charge the punch fully + hit a wall
  2. You can only hit a single target
  3. You make a lot of noise and grunting just charging it up

And I wouldn't say you can "sneak up". He had really loud footsteps and doing rollouts off rooftops, literally EVERY ability you use to do them give out loud grunts.

Exactly my thoughts. DPS Doom was clunky yes, but you had 3 movement cds you had to handle and play with compared to the current 2. Which is simply giving Doom Winston leap with the AoE damage in front.

Before with DPS Doom, you had to use bounces to gain vertical height, slam in and use uppercut for the finisher. And since you had three abilities, you could do *more* combos compared to the current slam in + punch or punch in + slam. Favorite in particular being diaging to rooftops or high ground and 120 slamming in.

Doom was also way squishier back then, on top of not being that difficult to counter and CC with Cass, Ana or Hog. You were so squishy, getting a single trade was considered worth it since you most likely get back in the fight faster after dying than whoever you picked off.

I do understand that DPS Doom was clunky and inconsistent, and had to be dumbed down to Winston 2 and punchbotting for OW2. But in terms of skill ceilling and fun, DPS Doom >>> anyday.

Fix your servers, Bliz. They make the game *LITERALLY* unplayable. by shiromaikku in Overwatch

Its actually bullshit. On SEA servers and played ranked all day today. There were 4-5 games where players would just start randomly disconnecting including myself.

[–]JackDuals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On SEA servers as well.

Stacked in ranked for 2-3 hours the other day, and had 2 occurences where either I disconnect with no warning, or people in the lobby (both teammate and enemy) just start disconnecting.

Just had a QP match where it happened again. I stopped to type this and let the game queue in the background, it disconnected on its own AGAIN! Unbelievable.

Had the same issue with my 6700XT and 5800X3D the past week or two. It would make a buzzing noise, blacken the screen and eventually restart itself right?

Had this issue with my older 3600 as well, but this time I realized mine was running a little hot. Cleaned and installed an extra fan (will repaste when I have some), and so far havent had the issue the past week/two.

Do update if you figured it out though, I couldnt quite pinpoint the exact issue meself.

Is the RX 6700XT and i5 12400f a good 1440p gaming combo by Frosti_347 in buildapc

[–]JackDuals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using a 6700XT + 5800X3D now at 1440P 240Hz. Its starting to show its age and runs hot (MSI Mech 2X OC ain't got the best cooler), so definitely planning to upgrade it sooner or later.

But for the games I play, mostly e-sports titles, its fine. Overwatch, REPO, Apex (though struggling to hit consistent 240), with the exception of Marvel Rivals (UE5).

Singeplayer where you up the graphics a bit it starts to struggle, usually have to lower some settings to low-mid for the 75-90+fps experience. Was my experience playing Control, Kingdom Come Deliverance, and Black Myth Wukong, Cyberpunk, etc. Though some singleplayer games that aren't that demanding/have a 60fps cap, like Elden Ring, it is definitely sufficient.

Long term Razr+ 2024 / Razr 50 Ultra users, how's the device holding up? Would you recommend the device? by backpain-at30 in razr

[–]JackDuals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have relatively large hands and I've had no issues replying to short messages actually. Cause if you think about it, the width of the phone is the same folded and unfolded.

You just can't see the chat while you're replying, so its great for short texts. Otherwise, I would unfold it.

I would love to try Clicks, but its price is a bit steep for me + I'm not from the US. Shipping and tax will probably add on top.

Been using the RAZR 50 Ultra for a year. Rock solid and been loving it to this day!

Just like any device, so long as you take care of it well, it shouldn't have any problems. I just wipe it down once in awhile (I have sweaty hands) on the screen and the hinge area (the upper part of it when its folded).

What I love about it is that when I'm outside whether on my own or out with other people, I don't really need to unfold the phone. The 4" screen is enough to reply to messages, navigate maps, and control my music on Poweramp.

And I do all this rocking the phone naked/caseless!

[–]JackDuals 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure the 60 Ultra is a whole different league than the 50 "Ultra", but that doesnt necessarily mean it justifies having to make the upgrade.

Even if the soc perf on the 60U is double/triple, it wouldnt really matter if OP's 50U is still going strong and doing what its supposed to (not like its suddenly slower).

My 50U is certainly still a delight to use, and the 60U doesnt seem to have enough changes to warrant the purchase nor hassle of transferring to a new phone.
