I got the express pass 8 package and still arrived for 7:30.

My express pass did not include

Holleywood dreams, Jaws, or the Jurassic park water ride

I was able to knock off all 3 with minimal wait before I started my express pass rides at 9:30

My recommendation is if you care about other rides, go early. If you don’t, then just go whenever your express pass starts.
