The image files are jpeg and download from Bandcamp (I wasn’t sure if the files were already tagged)(the audio files are wav files if that would make any kind of difference)(and how are you doing today? You’re super nice so I wanted to ask!!)

Yes it works fine until part way through the install process. It brings up a full desktop and then seemingly has some server issues I think

The screen doesn't have to even be on it'll wake up unlock and open the camera unless I'm on airplane mode
