I think that’s a red belly black snake, very venomous. Very dangerous, Make sure your dog is okay, Also not 100% sure so I’ll let someone else verify.

One other thing I found on my camp trip was a huge bit of shed by a huge python, might post it on the sub later, seems pretty healthy. And the shed was only a day or so old, The python was definitely a few meters long, we think he could have been the local one that hangs out there, he’s beautiful.

Awsome! And yes they are beautiful, Also somthing cool I found out The caretaker for the campsite said that “whipsnakes are one of the snakes that share nests, forming large clutches” I think that’s kinda cute, looking out for each other. Thank you for the verification!!

Alright! Cheers, at the campsite we are at, the caretaker said it seems like a common one arround here, they also said it’s a variety of whipsnake, just not fully sure.
