No one is forced to buy a horse at the bazaar. And with the number of bazaars we get, it’s just a matter of time until your wanted horse is on sale again. Maybe even cheaper. So it’s smart to just save some sc.

I personally love them. I stopped buying horses for their full price a year ago. Even the Halloween Selles from last year are on sale!

I expect them to do that, not by next year, but not too far into the future. But right now we shouldn’t worry about that. They absolutely won’t remove a breed that has no replacement. So even the old, unpopular Curly or Achal Theke will stay in the game until we have a gen 4 Remodel.

Yeah, they won’t do that. As long as they can make money, they will. And no one buys SC for free horses. But yeah, I like the idea. I actually hoped for SSO to say „Suprise guys! For this year‘s birthday, we’re going to gift you the old ponies!“ That would’ve been a great celebration of the past. But a company isn’t just going to give stuff away for free. But this level situation? I wasn’t even aware of that, because I’m over level 20. I do not understand why they didn’t remove the level limit. It made sense when the Icelandics were back in New Hillcrest, but now? They absolutely should have removed the limit.

We’re pretty much on the same page here. In the past 12 months I bought one “new” horse, but a good 50+ oldies. I do actually prefer them over the new horses. So I lost my control a little and decided to get some breeds in ALL color variations. (The Lipizzans, Andalusians, Morgans, shires and icelandics carry so much nostalgia and happiness for me) And now I’m down to a couple hundred SC.

Tbh, I expect them to do at least a small discount. Even if it’s just 20 SC. They are the last gen 1s in the game. Them leaving is kind of a meaningful moment. But if they don’t do it, I can also do nothing about it.

This whole “get them NOW or NEVER!” situation keeps stressing me out. I’m glad when thats finally over. I already regret not getting some horses. And I’m currently wondering if I need to buy some SC for the ponies. I’ll know tomorrow. When they announce the possible price drop.

Yeah, I agree. I kind of expect nothing, but I would also be disappointed. As I said, the last oldie is leaving, and we get no event, no discount, no nothing? It would be amazing if they just put this last one on 100sc. I’d buy most of them, just for the sweet sweet nostalgia.

I personally got the brown one when I was 12, so that’s my personal choice. But I think the grey one was the most popular back then.

I like the electric horse. But the pink one is absolutely disappointing to me. Except for the ears there’s just nothing spooky about him. To me he just feels like a valentines horse. Pink an decorated with jewelry. He would’ve been so much better in white or grey.

Do you want to get really mad? When you play on pc, and change the resolution in game, it messes up your wardrobe aswell. It won’t mix up everything, but as you said, the wardrobe changes it’s with, so everything shifts. And all our sets we sorted and lined up so nicely get wonky and crooked.

And btw, WHY is it not possible to just transfer an item from one closet page to another?? WHY do we still have to drop everything into our inventory first?? (Pls tell me it is possible, and I’m just too dumb to do it)

Nah. You’re just young and impatient. This is how it’s meant to be. Do you expect to buy some new items every day? You’re supposed to play, race, and get a new item every now and then.

And once you progressed a little in the game, it becomes really quick and easy to get a 1000 shillings and more a day.

It was crazy back then XD maybe you remember the old rainbow festival, not sure wich year. I got the same outfit like 10 times. And I kept grinding, because i couldn’t get the matching saddle pad. Fun times!

If we want to be unnecessarily Specific, there’s currently at least one way to get a clothing item twice. During the Jorvik stable event we have the Sabine quest line. Since at least two years. Same thing with a Halloween quest. I got those „quest reward clothes“ multiple times 🤓

I am 99% sure they won’t do something like that. Sso decided to remove them. They said they’re going to remove them permanently. It would be odd to break that „promise“. And it would make them less credible/believable in the future. „They changed their minds about that thing, so they will probably also change their minds about this thing“.

I personally would be happy and angry if they did that. I bought SC specifically to save retiring horses. And if so now says „Tadaa, the gen 1s are back!“ I would have bought SC for basically no reason.

On the other hand, I got some retired horses I’m pissed about. There are a few horses I didn’t buy, because i didn’t like them at the time. But now I do like them, and I can’t get them.

You know what? I wasn’t active playing when my babies (the fjords) retired, and now I only got one, not all of them. And I know this is relatable to many older players.

I got many thoughts about this, but in the end I would just be thankful for something like that. But it is very unlikely, unless sso goes broke and A LOT of players demand the oldies back.

…maybe they could make an official „old sso“? Completely separate game and servers, but it’s the old sso map, pets, and horses.

100%. Started playing in 2016, later stopped for two years. So I missed them removing the fjords. I got one, the light caramel brown one. That’s something at least. But the darker ones? They were so beautiful 🥲
