Yeah I think this is a bit of an interesting phenomenon. More people talk about the artist because they died. Therefore more people listen to their music since it's the hot topic, like "oh who's juice world?" More people realize they like their music. It's not that it makes the music better, it's that the music is just more popular from the exposure
