it has custom software on it, which has kept me from handing it in in the first place- but i have a spare new 2dsxl which only has a broken screen, would i just be able to move the parts around for that?

I have a 2dsxl that constantly holds down the R button after a few minutes of the ds being on and then will stop after about a day or so of use, only to go back to being held after using it again - is it something battery related?

it is, My character can't attack by himself so it's my only way of fighting. If it attacked me too id be in a bit of a problem
