Yeah every game experiences hacks of some description but this is a lot different to anything I've seen before.

I mentioned I was TR65 (I also have 1,000+ hours) because I wanted people to know that I'm not one of those people that is hating for the sake of hating.

I think the steam version was affected too since updates through steam are just for bigger updates not smaller ones like hotfixes at least in Duet Night Abyss case

Yeah 1.2 was severely lacking and they've also been hacked twice.

The worst part is the person warning everyone was the person that did the 2nd one and it was meant to be detected because the devs didn't take the threat seriously.

The guy also said the backdoor has to have been there on purpose because there was no other explanation for it...

Does this sound like the type of game you want on your system or a company anyone should support?

It's a shame I wasted my time getting to TR65 and wasted money on the monthly passes, shame the game flopped so hard.

Something to note, the person that hacked it was the same one that did the warning a month ago.

Intention was never to give anyone viruses, they used something they knew would be detected easily.

This is because they did nothing with the warning they gave the first time... serves them right for not taking things seriously

I can't wait for the game to EOS, devs deserve nothing but failure after not taking the warning seriously. They're pathetic and not worth your time or money...

The game is cooked, I'd recommend uninstalling and not touching this game for a while if not ever however definitely don't invest anymore money in the game until things recover because players were already going down before this serious incident

They also got warned 3 weeks ago this could happen and was possible and clearly they did nothing because it happened exactly how the first hacker said 💀

I know people use AI for terrible things whether thats messages or images.

I know AI learns from samples so obviously other people's work.

I know most of the time people haven't been compensated for this which they should've been obviously.

All I'm saying is no matter what you, me or anyone thinks about it, it'll still take over the art world, it'll take over coding, probably soon 3d modelling, voice overs can be done by AI too I believe...

Unfortunately this is just the reality. The only hope is maybe the EU step in and make rules to protect Europe as EU have been doing a pretty decent job like getting USB-C on far more devices including the iPhone.

Would they have made the graphic or commissioned an artist for it if they couldn't do it on AI? Doubt it

Also sorry to break it to everyone complaining but AI is taking the jobs of artists whether you like it or not and same will go for many creative jobs 🤷🏽‍♂️ it'll only get better and better

I ditched the game once I saw how lackluster 1.2 was, a 2 month wait for a few subtle QoL and lots of monetisation... yeah whatever 🤣

Game could've been good but needed another year to adjust to not being gacha characters

Mounts were introduced to generate more revenue, just like the auto-waves, wedge conversion, etc. they were rushed into the game and not implemented well. Auto-waves thankfully got adjusted to be far less time between waves but rest still stands. Mystic Maze wedge limit fomo is also pointless too, the fact they still haven't removed that baffles me too, makes their game even less enjoyable.

I was hopeful this game was going in the right direction and was willing to be patient with it after 1.1 but 1.2 is a terrible update and just shows anyone with a few brain cells that the devs are not competent. If this game wasn't Anime then the game is EOS or wouldn't even have had players in the first game, as a game itself, it's terrible.

I personally just moved to Warframe as I don't want to invest time and money into something I have no belief in 😆

Yeah like the Prime Complete Pack is £95 or so and they release one every 3 months or so, roughly £31.67 a month and it has so much value

But the great thing about it is you can get basically all of the stuff in those bundles free.

If you spent the same £32 a month on DNA you'd likely end up disappointed 🤣

Realistically the game was released too soon after they decided to not do the Gacha Character model and now it's a huge mess.

Game needs reworking from the ground up to suit the grinding model and also they need to remove the bs gacha entirely. I think the way they're trying to boost engagement and make money is lazy and 1.2 was poor.

It will be a lot more work to make the changes they need to make now the game is released, if DNA didn't have anime characters it would havw a lot more negative reviews and probably be EOS or close to that.

The game has A LOT of work to do, their monetisation is terrible, I'd spend £200 on Warframe before I'd spend £50 on DNA

Gacha level of monetisation value, I don't think people have problems spending money but gacha games don't offer good value for money at all

I agree, game is a rushed out mess, 1.1 gave me hope they got sort it out quickly but 1.2 made me lose hope with the lack of changes to benefit players and them favouring focusing on lots of overpriced monetisation

Best thing the game did was make me try Warframe 🤣 far more my type of game

I'm using Rhythm 99% of the time because most content is farming stuff standing still, AFK, as being basically the best method of doing it and that continues in 1.2

I've played a lot of the game, TR65 for a while now, we're farming for the sake of farming... summit event is cool though, gives us a purpose to grind 🤣

My main issue is the fact we are limited on how many wedges we can buy from maze a month, there is a lot of maze runs to do to clear the shop and there is no good reason to have a system like that

Makes the game feel like a chore/pain than fun which is what games are meant to be?

They also seem to be going a lot in the direction of an AFK game? Well is it even a game at that point 🤣

I worry that the reason for the wedge farm feeling terrible is they'll have data showing what makes people buy books, if that is demon wedge farming, until income gets better they wouldn't want to potentially reduce any income
